Student Achievement Committee Vacancy

Medford School District 549C is seeking patrons in the community who wish to serve a one-year term on the districtís new Student Achievement Committee.  The committee will meet several times during the year.  The purpose of the Student Achievement Committee is to provide oversight and advise the Medford School District Board of Directors on its Board Goal that requires the acceleration of learning for students who perform below grade level bringing them up to grade level by the end of the school year.  For the upcoming 2013-2014 school year this committee will specifically monitor students who are English Language Learners and/or district students whose home language is not English.  Anyone interested must reside within the districtís attendance boundaries and cannot be an officer, agent or employee of the district.  Preference will be provided to applicants who currently have a child enrolled in the Medford School District.  Applications may be obtained in the office of the superintendent at 815 S. Oakdale Ave., #217 or by clicking on the application link below. Applications are due by July 29, 2013 and may be returned to the office of the superintendent at 815 S.
