Emergency School Closures and Delayed Start Information

This page is not active.  Please visit the LIVE district website.

Friday, December 13, 2013

Medford School District schools and departments are open, according to the district calendar, with the following conditions.

  • Due to winter conditions in the higher elevations, Snow Routes will run for all schools.

Click here for snow route information. Be sure to click the "Snow Routes" link before clicking on the name of your child's school.

Please monitor the radio, television, and/or this web site for further information. Please do not call your child’s school. Information regarding tomorrow's classes may not be posted until tomorrow morning. Please check back.

School personnel are not required to report to work if school is closed. If a delay or early release is announced, school staff also will be delayed in getting to work or leaving early.

What determines a school closure or delay?
If district personnel determine that the roads are not safe for buses to operate, school will be closed. If it is believed that by waiting for a short period of time the hazard will be reduced, then a delay will be announced.
