General Information


 Mission Statement: We, the community of Griffin Creek School, strive to:

  • Provide a supportive, safe physical and emotional environment in which children and adults can grow and learn;
  • Provide an appropriate foundation of skills and knowledge for each learner;
  • Create, challenge, encourage, and assist all to be life-long learners;
  • Respect ourselves, others, our school, and our country by being individuals who are dependable, cooperative, and responsible for our own actions.

Grades: K-6 Enrollment: 590 Staff: 51

Student Transportation: Students who live one mile or more from school are bussed to and from school. Children who live less than one mile from school walk or are transported by car.

Middle School and High School Attendance Areas: After finishing sixth grade, Griffin Creek students attend McLoughlin Middle School and then South Medford High School.
