    Oregon Battle of the Books is a statewide competition that celebrates the love of reading! Students form teams, read a selected list of books and battle/test their knowledge.

    No School on Monday, February 19 in observance of President's Day.

  • Rowing Team
    The South Rowing Team will be recruiting at lunch Tuesday, 2/13 & Thursday, 2/22. No experience necessary. Travel & compete all over the northwest. There are more college scholarships available in rowing than any other sport.

  • Blind Date with a Book
    Come to the library after reading your "Blind Date" book to take the AR test and enter the drawing for one of 3 prizes. Drawing held on 2/28 during lunch.

  • Panther Future Center
    --ACT Test is Tuesday, 2/27; check out the ACT website for study resources
    --The RCC Placement test is being offered at SMHS on 3/7 and 3/8. Sign-up in the PFC
    --Students interested in taking courses at RCC in the spring, meet with your counselor. Registration opens 3/9.
