The Medford School District Board of Education has decided to place a capital construction bond request on the upcoming May ballot."
On February 12, 2018, the MSD Board of Directors voted 6-1 in favor of issuing an intent to file a bond measure election in May 2018.
On March 12, 2018, the board voted in favor of a resolution calling a measure election for a $25 million general obligation bond.
The measure proposes to build additional facilities at North Medford High School (NMHS) and South Medford High School (SMHS) to house CTE programs.
The facilities would house programs including, but not limited to: Plumbing; Electrical; Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC), and Carpentry.

On February 7, MSD hosted a CTE town hall meeting to engage staff, families, and community members to prioritize programs of importance to students and the Southern Oregon workforce.
