What types of Summer Programs are available?
Posted by:There are two types of summer programs for incoming and current high school students.
Our High School Summer Program is for current and incoming 9th - 12th graders. Our Bridge Program is for incoming 9th graders (students who are currently in 8th grade during the 2022-2023 school year).

When do I get my schedule?
Posted by:Students will be able to see the summer schedule in StudentVUE on Sunday, June 18th. Classes will start at 8:30 and our day will end at 12:00 on Monday through Thursdays starting June 20th to July 13th. We do have 3 holidays and will not have classes on June 19th, July 3rd, and 4th.

When can I start my Online Class?
Posted by:We plan to get all the online classes ready to start by the last day of school, June 8th. Check your email before this day because we hope to get you started earlier. Your Final Exam must be completed at South in room A213 by July 13th.

Will there be food available?
Posted by:Yes, you can come to South as early as 8:00 to have breakfast and we will provide a snack during our break time at 10:20.

High School Program: June 20 - July 13
South Medford High School will be offering programs that will allow students to gain credits. There are two ways students can access credit.
The first is for current 9th through 12th-grade students who failed courses and need to retrieve credits.
The second is for any incoming 9th through 12th-grade students who would like to earn original credits. Elective credits are offered. Some past examples are art, welding and culinary.
These programs are completely free and all materials will be supplied by the school.
Who: Current 9th - 12th-grade students who wish to retrieve credit or current 8th -12th-grade students who wish to earn original credits
When: June 20th - July 13th
(No classes on June 19th, July 3rd and July 4th)
Monday through Thursday
Courses offered 8:00 am - 12:30 pm
Where: South Medford High School
Transportation: Bus routes will be posted by June 12, 2023

Bridge Program (Panther Camp) July 31 - August 10
Our Bridge Program (Panther Camp) is a 2-week program to support the transition into high school and includes any incoming 9th graders for 2023-24. This is meant to give students a head start on their transition to a new school level. Students can earn half a credit towards the required 24 credits to graduate.
These programs are completely free and all materials will be supplied by the school
Who: For current 8th graders who will be attending South next year.
When: July 31st - August 10th
Monday through Thursday
Hours: 8:00 am - 12:00 pm
