Bus Transportation

The Medford School District contracts with First Student to provide bus transportation. ODE requirements to be eligible for bus transportation is that the student is living more than one mile from school for elementary, and 1 1/2 miles for secondary.

WEDNESDAYS ONLY- Middle and High School bus routes run 30 minutes later than regular posted times, except for Ruch area students who will be picked up at regular posted times.

South Medford HS and McLoughlin MS Students that live in the Ruch area will be picked up with the Ruch Outdoor Community School students on routes 2, 3, and 4 and taken home on route 40. Ruch routes will run on Mondays at the posted times for the High School and Middle School students only.

Please check your student's bus route regularly for changes or updates. 

All students are required to be at the bus stop waiting for the bus 5 minutes before the posted times. The buses run on a tight schedule, the bus may not be able to return to the stop if a student misses the bus.

Please allow a 5 minute window before and after the posted stop times to allow for unforeseen problems on the route.

In cases of snow, the school district may implement snow routes*.

*Not all schools have snow routes. If you do not see a snow route listed on your school page, use your normal route.

In cases of two-hour delays, all stops will be picked up 2 hours later than the listed time.
