We are incredibly grateful to the staff members who worked throughout the summer to provide opportunities and support for our students.

This summer, students participated in TAG Camp, High school credit retrieval, Kindergarten Jump Start, Migrant Education programs, “Bridge” programs for 6th and 9th graders, and athletic camps. We especially enjoyed celebrating our summer reading program participants, and want to congratulate our winner from Hoover Elementary!

Behind the scenes, our departments have also been hard at work preparing our schools for the new year. Staff have been building, improving, and beautifying our facilities so classrooms and learning spaces are ready to welcome students back.

We have also continued work on our new strategic plan, which will help guide our district’s priorities and efforts in the years ahead.

There will be many ways to stay informed and get involved throughout the school year!

One of our favorite traditions each year is seeing students arrive for their first day of school!
