Welcome Back from Spring Break |
We’re excited to welcome our students and families back this week! As we head into the final quarter of the school year, we want to remind families how important it is for students to attend school every day. Regular attendance helps students remain on track with learning, build strong routines, and feel connected to their classmates and school community.
Families play a big role in supporting good attendance. Simple steps like maintaining morning routines, preparing backpacks or outfits the night before, and talking with your child about their day at school can make a big difference in helping them arrive ready to learn.
For more information about how missing school can affect your child’s learning, please take a moment to review this Attendance Matters Flyer (English, Spanish). |

We’ve made meaningful progress this year on several important district priorities. This includes launching a revamped staff recognition program, introducing a new homeschool program, improving student attendance, strengthening and expanding community partnerships, implementing a new math curriculum, and much more. We’re proud of the work happening across our schools and grateful for the support of our families and community.
Building on the progress we’ve made, the district is beginning the development of a new strategic plan. This plan will help guide our work over the next three years by establishing a shared vision and aligning our priorities, resources, and initiatives to best support student success.
Family and community voices are an important part of this process. In the coming months, we will be reviewing your feedback to help shape the future direction of our district. We look forward to working together to continue creating the best possible learning experiences for all students. |

Graduation may feel far away, but it is approaching fast! Now is a great time for families to review important graduation information, including requirements students must meet to walk across the stage, as well as details about the celebration itself.
We encourage families to visit the Medford School District website and their student’s school website for the most up-to-date information. Checking these pages will help you stay informed about key dates, expectations, and everything you need to know as we get closer to the end of the school year. You can learn more here:

Work has begun on the rebuild of the gymnasium at North Medford High School. This is an exciting step toward restoring an important space for students, athletics, and school events.
Since the gym’s roof collapsed, we have been working with engineers, contractors, and school leaders to plan the rebuild. In early March, the design team met with school administrators to finalize details for the construction documents. The City of Medford approved stormwater work on March 25, allowing us to break ground and continue moving forward.
You can expect to see construction crews and equipment around the gym site as work continues through the completion of the new facility. Families can follow project updates here |
