The Medford School District strives to make the work environment as safe as possible for all employees, students and visitors. To be in compliance with the OSHA Hazard Communication Standard (HCS), the school district provides employees and the public access to Safety Data Sheets (SDS), formally known as MSDS, for all chemicals within the school district, using the MSDSonline website.
Each individual school has two SDS binders with hard copies of the SDS for all chemicals located at that specific school. One binder is located in the main office and the other is located in the custodial office.
To use the MSDSonline service you type in the chemical you are looking for. Click on the PDF icon to access the SDS. You can view it and print it if needed.
If you do not find the chemical you are looking for, you can follow the tips listed under “Search Tips” and/or follow the directions under “Alternative Options” by clicking on SDSonline possible matches and see if any exist. If so, find the one that matches the chemical and click on the PDF icon to view the SDS. To add it to the SDS list, click on “Assign to Company List” and fill out the information.
