Title I-C Program

The general purpose of the Migrant Education Program (MEP) is to ensure that migrant children fully benefit from the same free public education provided to other children. To achieve this purpose, the MEP helps State Educational Agencies and local operating agencies address the unique educational needs of migrant children to better enable migrant children to succeed academically.

What services are available for Migrant students?

Migrant programs are available to qualified migrant students in the Medford School District 549C through the Southern Oregon Education Service District (SOESD).  The programs are designed to support students in meeting challenging academic Reading and Mathematics standards. In addition, Migrant students automatically qualify for Free Lunch and receive an accident insurance policy. Migrant staff link families to community support services as needed. To find out more about these services, please contact the Southern Oregon Education Service District at 541-776-8590 or http://www.soesd.k12.or.us/migrant-ed-ell/
