Title I-D

Title I-D, Subpart 1, provides formula grants for supplementary education services to help provide education continuity for children and youths in state-run institutions for juveniles and in adult correctional institutions so that these youths can make successful transitions to school or employment once they are released.

Title I-D, Subpart 2 provides funding to school districts having local facilities for neglected or delinquent children or youth within district boundaries. These funds can be used to supplement and support programs for students currently in locally ran facilities, transition, as well as those for students defined as "at-risk" by the Title I-D Statute.
