The Medford School District (MSD) met with the Oregon School Employees Association (OSEA) on Monday, March 16, to exchange proposals on specific sections of the contract. This process, known as collective bargaining, is used to negotiate contract terms for the MSD-OSEA collective bargaining agreement.

The session began by introducing team members. The Medford School District team includes: Michael Campbell (Executive Director of Human Resources), Ashley Nichols-Lee (Principal), Marie Dudgeon (Assistant Director of Human Resources), and Peggy Stock (District Consultant). The Oregon School Employees Association team includes: Sarah Reames, Amanda Potts, Amber Thompson, Brian Rowlett, Karen Glockling, Lisa Hartley, Michelle Wisely, Rachel Johnston, and Lisa March.
OSEA introduced initial proposals for subsections 4.01, 4.02, and 4.03, all from Article 4 (Employee Compensation and Benefits). MSD introduced initial proposals for Article 4 (Employee Compensation and Benefits) and Article 5 (Insurance).
