Notice is hereby given that proposals will be accepted by the Medford School District at 900 Kenyon Street, Medford, OR 97501 in the Purchasing office, from qualified insurance agents to serve as the Agent of Record for insurance services, including various liability coverages, comprehensive, auto and worker compensation, but excluding employee benefits. The District utilizes the insurance benefits of PACE for liability, comprehensive and auto coverage and SAIF for worker compensation.
The Agent of Record should be fully qualified to work with both PACE and SAIF and prepared to provide extensive services and support in the areas listed for a minimum of three (3) years, with an option to extend for an additional two (2) years at the District’s discretion.
This is a qualified bid process, so while overall costs (that are flexible) are a major factor, agents who can provide the most experience and scope of services requested will receive higher marks. The District invites interested agents to complete and submit a proposal.

REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL 25-01-31
Notice is hereby given that proposals will be accepted by the Medford School District at 900 Kenyon Street, Medford, OR 97501, in the Purchasing office, for the NMHS Gym Temporary Building project at 1900 N. Keene Way, Medford, OR 97504. Bids must be received no later than 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 30, 2025. There will be an optional pre-bid meeting on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at the project location.
The purpose and intent of this RFP is to establish a firm fixed price contract with one qualified contractor to provide all labor, materials and equipment to complete the project. The project consists of supplying and installing an enclosed metal structure measuring approximately 100’ x 140’ with an eave height of 20’. A concrete slab will be the base floor with appropriate footings in accordance with the engineering of the structure and local building codes. The building should include vapor barriers and insulation at the wall and roof envelopes. All four sides will eventually be enclosed. The proposer should consider building this structure in stages as funding is available.
Phase one should include Ground work, 6” Slab/footings, Roof support pillars, Roof structure, R-36 insulation and roofing, Utility trenching and backfill.

An optional pre-proposal meeting and site visit will take place on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. PST. The starting point for this meeting will be in the front office at South Medford High School, located at 1551 Cunningham Avenue, Medford, OR 97501.
The Medford School District 549C (District) is seeking written proposals. Pursuant to state and federal law, Medford School District 549C, Local Educational Agency (hereafter called the LEA) participating in the National School Lunch Program (NSLP), School Breakfast Program (SBP), Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) and Summer Food Service Programs (SFSP), may contract with a food service management company (FSMC) to operate eligible school food services. The administration of all USDA Child Nutrition Programs is the responsibility of the Oregon Department of Education (hereafter called the Department). All terms and conditions of procurement and contracting are subject to Oregon Administrative Rules 581, Division 51, as applicable.
This RFP is intended to provide FSMCs with the opportunity to present their qualifications and approach clearly and succinctly, while providing the LEA with comparable information from each proposer. The successful FSMC will be required to enter into the Oregon Department of Education standard form agreement titled “LEA-FSMC Contract”. The contract awarded will be a fixed price contract.

SCOPE
The purpose and intent of this RFP is to establish a contract with one qualified source to weatherproof the remaining exposed sections of the gym at North Medford High School.
Proposals will be evaluated under these criteria:
- Quality of weather barrier proposed (25 Points)
- Prices: include General Conditions costs in profit and overhead price, per diem rate, and percentage of markup on labor and materials (30 Points)
- Availability to start work (20 Points)
- Past experience with similar projects – ideally three examples (25 Points)
The Medford School District will handle all permitting for this project.
