Interim Superintendent
A Message From Jeanne
It’s an honor to serve as your interim superintendent. As I begin this role, my focus is simple: to listen, learn, and lead in a way that reflects the strengths and needs of this community. There’s a quote by Simon Sinek that captures my approach to leadership: “Leadership is not about being in charge. It is about taking care of those in your charge.” That belief guides how I show up in this role–with humility, purpose, and a deep sense of responsibility to serve others.
While I have many years in this district, I don’t pretend to have all the answers. My first priority is to deepen relationships, continue building trust, and stay grounded in what matters most–our students, staff, families, and community partners. I lead by listening, showing up authentically, and staying focused on moving our work forward and getting things done with authenticity and purpose.
My entry plan is designed to guide my first steps: visiting schools and departments, hearing from stakeholders, and identifying opportunities where we can grow together. My commitment is to be transparent, responsive and grounded in what’s best for students.
I look forward to the conversations ahead and continuing to build on our already strong foundation together, for our students.
With appreciation,
Jeanne Grazioli

Core Beliefs &
Leadership Philosophy
What matters to me is getting the work done and doing what’s best for students and staff, every single day.
I lead by listening. I show up as myself: genuine, humble, and straightforward.
Leadership is about building trust, staying consistent, and tackling difficult tasks even when they’re uncomfortable. I face tough decisions head-on and don’t let personal feelings get in the way. My role isn’t to please everyone, it’s to lead us forward as a team.
Even when the work gets tough, I try to stay positive and grounded. I believe in being honest, being human, and treating people with respect. I’m not afraid of feedback, and I’m always trying to get better. I believe the best ideas often come from listening, really listening, to the people doing the work every day.
At the end of the day, I believe in results. But I also believe how we get there matters. That means leading with integrity, staying focused on students, and building a culture where people feel seen, supported, and empowered.
