The goals of the Medford School District Professional Development Program are to:

1. Provide a proactive approach to the personal and professional development of all employees for the benefit of students.

2. Anticipate and plan for the long-range needs of individual staff members and the district.

3. Make professional growth and in-service an integral and expected part of each employees’ experience.

4. Provide employees with competence-enhancing support at the job site.

The mission of the Medford School District Professional Development Program is to ensure professional growth by maintaining and improving the knowledge, skills, and attitudes of each individual within the organization, which will result in increasingly effective and efficient teaching and student learning.
