The “Bulldogs to Raiders” program was launched this school year and named for the program’s mission of creating a pathway for McLoughlin “Bulldogs” to attend college and become Southern Oregon University “Raiders.”
Students who participate in “Bulldogs to Raiders” sign a contract in their eighth grade year to continue with the program though high school. The contract is also signed by their parents. The students pledge to maintain a grade point average of 3.0 or higher, prepare for college by “behaving like a scholar,” participate in at least two “Bulldogs to Raiders” events each year, take challenging high school courses, and apply for financial aid and scholarship opportunities during their senior year. Parents pledge to understanding that a child needs to attend school regularly, participate in “Bulldogs to Raiders” meetings, and complete the program.
