Boys Basketball 2019
7th & 8th Grade Boys interested in trying out for a place on the Hedrick Boys' Basketball teams must sign up during lunch on Wednesday, October 16th or Thursday, October 17th to be cleared by the Athletics Office. All athletes must have a current Sports Physical (good for 2 years) and the Middle School Participation & Eligibility form turned in prior to the start of tryouts.
Tryouts will begin the week of October 28th. Exact days & times TBD.
If your athlete is injured during practice or a game, and seeks medical attention, a doctor’s note may need to be provided to release your athlete to participate. Please deliver notes in person to the Hedrick Office. Please do not fax doctor’s notes.
Transportation after games:
- Hedrick provides transportation to and from all regular season games (tournaments will be an exception). Athletes must ride the bus to the game, and may ride back to Hedrick if needed.
- Parents may take their player home after any game, at any location. They need to sign out with a coach prior to leaving the gym. Please have your ID ready to show the coach.
- If a game is in Jackson County, someone other than the parent/guardian is allowed to drive an athlete home with a pre-approved note written by the parent/guardian. Notes must be approved by the athletics secretary by noon on the day of the event.
- If a contest is outside of Jackson County (Grants Pass, Roseburg, Klamath Falls), only a parent/guardian may transport an athlete home.
