Dear Abraham Lincoln Community,
It is a great honor to be the principal of Abraham Lincoln Elementary. Our school is an amazing, positive place, with great dedication to our students. This is due to caring staff and wonderful parent involvement.
We strive for all students to feel connected and engaged. This school year we will be implementing new health and social emotional curriculums. We are also embarking on year two of Restorative Justice (more information can be found at https://www.medford.k12.or.us/Page/4690) Our theme this school year is Be Calm. Be Kind. These are just a few exciting things on the horizon.
I am thrilled to be able to support such great opportunities for students. I have been in education for sixteen years. In my ten years as a classroom teacher I taught kindergarten, first grade, third grade, and fifth grade. I spent four years as a Teacher On Special Assignment serving as an Instructional Coach facilitating professional development for teachers. This is my third year as principal. I was born and raised in Medford, went to Medford Schools, and earned my degrees through Southern Oregon University. I left for a few years, but returned to Medford to raise my family. I have a 17 year-old stepson in high school and a 13 year-old son at Hedrick.
