The Medford School District recognizes the importance of helping students connect academic learning to their individual interests and aspirations. In high school, students choose a Pathway that best fits their unique interests and emerging career goals. MSD Pathways are organized within three broad areas of interest: Academic, Career and Technical Education, and Visual and Performing Arts. Each student-selected Pathway includes:
- A sequence of four relevant courses
- Opportunities to earn professional certifications, industry credentials, and college credit
- Participation in related clubs, activities, and student organizations
- A personalized, post-high school career plan
