Black Youth Summer Institute and Latinx Programs Awarded Grants

Congratuations to the following grant winners! 

Medford School District to host the Black Youth Summer Institute, a new, week-long leadership summit for African American/Black students, providing mentoring and academic support, in partnership with the Ashland School District and Southern Oregon University. $50,000 William and Florence Schneider Fund of OCF

North Medford High School $3,000 to support Latinx leadership development through cultural and community events as well as post-secondary and career exploration. OCF Latino Partnership Program

South Medford High School:$1,500 to provide Latinx students in the Bulldogs to Raiders program access to professional SAT/ACT test practice and instruction to raise their scores which will result in college opportunities. OCF Latino Partnership Program
