Fall Sports Information


To participate in any of our athletic programs (including tryouts, optional or mandatory practices and games/meets), each student must complete the  following before they can participate:

¨ OSAA approved Pre-Sport Physical Examination form signed by a licensed medical practitioner. Sports physicals are valid for two years from the date of the exam. Be sure to schedule your child’s physical exam early, as many doctors get booked 2-3 months out!  This form can either be uploaded to or dropped off at the Hedrick office.

¨ Register for each sport in which they will participate by going to   Registration opens August 1st.


Important Fall Sports Information

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all practice, tryout and game times are subject to change. We appreciate your patience during this unprecedented time.


FootballTryouts for 7th & 8th Graders will be held August 24-28 from 4:00-6:00pm on the Hedrick Field. Athletes should wear comfortable running shoes, shorts and shirts and bring a mouth guard and football cleats.


Girls’ Volleyball:  Volleyball tryouts will be held in the Hedrick Gyms at the following times:

7th graders from 4-6pm on August 31 & September 1. 8th Graders from 4-6pm on September 2 & 3.

Volleyball athletes should wear T-shirts (no tank tops), spandex shorts, knee pads & court shoes and bring a water bottle. Attendance at all tryouts is mandatory to be considered for making a team.


Cross Country: 6th, 7th & 8th Graders will practice on September 1-3 from 3:45-5:00. Athletes should wear  comfortable running clothes and shoes, and bring a water bottle. Hats, sunglasses and sunscreen are recommended outside of the building. Athletes should meet coaches at the large pine tree on Jackson Street near the lower entrance.


Middle School Sports Participation Fee: $50.00 per sport with a $100 cap per student (two sport maximum). Please visit the athletics office if you need to make payment arrangements or apply for a scholarship. Payments, payment arrangements or scholarships are due by the first contest of each season. Failure to pay or make payment/scholarship arrangements will result in the athlete not being allowed to participate.
