8 Things to Know

The 2018-2019 school year has arrived! School starts on Monday, August 27. Here are eight things to do as you get ready for the first day of school.

Find Your Bus Route - Looking for your bus route? Please visit www.medford.k12.or.us/bus and click your school name To find out if your address is eligible for busing, visit https://goo.gl/YrLWHN. Some schools also have special snow routes for the winter season; those routes will be posted as we approach winter.

Check Out the School Calendar – Visit https://www.medford.k12.or.us/Page/4883 to view the 2018-2019 school calendar. This is where you can find information about holidays, school closures, and school board meetings.

Update Your Emergency Contact Information – Make sure we have your current phone number and email address so we can reach you quickly during an emergency and keep you up-to-date about what is happening at school. Update your contact information with your school office. 

Turn in Health Forms –  If your child has a life-threatening condition or needs medication at school, please contact your school and provide them with a Medication Permissions Form and a Medication Log Form. Contact your child's school if you have questions.

Pick Up a School Supply List – School supply lists can be found online on each school’s website under "Our School" > “About Us." You can find your school at https://www.medford.k12.or.us.

Find Out What’s For Lunch – If you’re looking for monthly lunch menus, visit Sodexo's website for information about elementary, middle, and high school lunch. You can also deposit money on your child’s account or apply for meal assistance on the same site.
