The Medford School District is offering options for students to work at their own pace and location while providing regular access to highly qualified Medford teachers invested in student learning. The program is available to Medford students in grades 7-12 and will have classrooms located at the District Office on Oakdale Avenue.
“We’re excited to offer this program for students and families seeking a flexible, personalized learning environment,” said Jennifer Jones, Medford Online Programs Coordinator. “We believe this program will meet the individual needs of many of our students and families, including those who are currently homeschooled or enrolled in virtual schools. Students will benefit from the support of highly qualified teachers as well as the award-winning online curriculum.”
Medford Online seeks to empower students and families to personalize their schooling experience.
“Our staff is committed to creating virtual learning success through real connections,” said Jones. “The program offers a fully virtual option with an online lab, staffed during school hours for testing and tutoring as needed, and a hybrid option which blends online curriculum with face-to-face instruction and hands-on learning.”
Families who are interested in learning more about the program can choose one of the two fun, family-friendly, informational sessions on Tuesday, July 30 in the MSDEC Boardroom at 815 S. Oakdale Ave.
