With the winter season in full swing, we want to make you aware of our process for notifying you in the event of a weather-related school closure or delay.
Our district will keep a close eye on the weather and if it looks like snow or ice will affect transportation, the district and contracted bus company, First Student, will send drivers out on the roads in the early morning hours.
If district and bus company drivers determine the roads are unsafe, the superintendent will make the decision to delay or close school. Please know that keeping students in school is a priority, but not at the risk of student and staff safety.
District officials will make the decision to close school by 5:30 am- AT THE LATEST- of the affected day, at which point you will be notified via phone and email. The information will also be posted to our website and distributed to local news outlets.
