Growth Mindset

Abraham Lincoln Elementary School is dedicated to fostering a Growth Mindset in our students.  What is a Growth Mindset?  It is one’s believe that intelligence and talent can be grown by learning as opposed to something one is born with.  At each Student Recognition Assembly, we recognize students who not only exemplify effort, but also try new strategies, seek input from others, and persevere in learning.  Our goal is for all students to see mistakes as a tool for new learnings and that challenges are a way to grow their brains!   We are excited to see which Grow Mindset students will be recognized at our upcoming assemblies.
